3 -let black paint dry then paint circle shape potatoes white and add bellies 4 - finish by adding eyes and an orange triangle beak
big buddies penguins
mini man's penguins
The activity the boys enjoyed the most is a game we call Peek-a-boo Penguin. It's pretty simple - they would close their eyes and count to ten while I hid a penguin. My original plan was to use a penguin from our winter sensory bin but he had gone missing so I taped a picture of a penguin to a toy block instead.

some of the penguin's hiding places
after the boys got the hang of the game i let them hide the penguin. big buddy came up with some pretty good hiding places - mini man always chose to hide penguin in his hand :)
We also practiced walking like penguins - the boys kept cheating so I tied their legs together.
Here's a short video of the penguin walk.
